My friend Keith just e-mailed me this photo from the Salt Flats. (No, he's not in the Salt Flats, he's in Belgium at the moment. The photo is from the Salt Flats. These are the kinds of things English teachers can't help but clarify...) There was about 2 or 3 inches of briney water sitting on top of 2 or so meters of salt -- made for incredible photography and very messy shoes también.
